Many of the features which are now available on the Android 11 developer preview 3 might not be included when the final update rolls out. So today we are going to talk about the most useful features that might arrive to the upcoming Google’s operating system that is currently the part of DP3. App screen gets larger previews along with shortcut button According to a report, the app will get bigger previews now also there are going to be shortcuts for Screenshots and share at the bottom. The Screenshots button can be used to take a screenshot of the app whereas the Share button will allow you to take a screenshot and then it immediately opens up the share sheet. App permissions automatically gets denied if not being used for months This is going to be an interesting privacy feature on the DP3 that is known as “Auto revoke permissions.” As the name suggests this feature automatically denies the app’s permissions if a particular app hasn’t been used for a few months. Notification shade has been upgraded with hidden notifications The Notification shade has been redesigned and comes with more changes such as expanded Quick Settings toggles that are now wider and as well as gradient. Along with the Clear All button a History button has been added to the new Notification History page. On top of that, the users can now swipe away persistent notifications that keep showing up for application along with Foreground service. When dismissed it gets listed in an “Apps active in background” section. Undo gesture to bring back ousted apps This feature was earlier spotted in the previous Android 10 Q betas that is now again available on the latest DP3 in order to bring back applications that have been recently swiped away. You will now get an option to undo an app which has been swiped down in the Recent app menu to bring it back. Compact Screenshot pop-up menu At the moment when you take a screenshot the options for screenshots is shown in the notification panel that allows you to share, edit or delete it in the latest Android 10. But now you will be getting a compact pop up menu for the screenshot which can be removed by tapping on the X button, can be shared as well as edited using an image editor. Also, an option to allow you to take scrolling screenshots might also arrive and is not fully functional. Lots of other useful features are also available to the Android 11 DP3 such as full-screen gesture navigation with inward swipe gestures from left and right sides of the screen replacing the back button, support for ethernet tethering along with redesigned caption preferences.
