The new Tiger emoji AirTag will only be available in Japan. So the customer in Japan who purchases the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, or iPhone SE (2020) between January 2–3 will be eligible for a limited-edition AirTag with the Tiger emoji, according to Apple. In addition to the new limited edition AirTag, Apple has also announced the release of its limited-edition Beats Studio Buds to commemorate the Lunar New Year and symbolise the Year of the Tiger. The Beats Studio Buds are available in a limited-edition red design with gold-coloured tiger print styles. Starting January 1, the earbuds will be available for purchase in select markets, according to an Instagram post by the company.
The new limited edition Beats Studio Buds’ price is still unknown. The earbuds are expected to cost the same as the ordinary Beats Studio Buds, which are presently available on the Apple website in the US for $119.99 translating to Rs 9,000. That’s not all, customers who purchase a 13-inch MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac mini, or 27-inch iMac in Japan will also receive an Apple Gift Card worth up to JPY 24,000 which is equivalent to Rs 15,700. Also, customers who buy the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, or iPhone SE will also receive an Apple Gift Card worth JPY 6,000 that translates to Rs 3,900. In addition to this, people who prefer to buy the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro will end up receiving an Apple Gift Card worth JPY 12,000 that converts to Rs 7,800. Whereas customers who buy the Apple Watch Series 3 or Apple Watch SE will obtain an Apple Gift Card worth JPY 6,000 that is approximately around Rs 3,900. Also, those who purchase the AirPods (2nd gen), AirPods (3rd gen), AirPods Pro, and AirPods Max are eligible to receive an Apple Gift Card value JPY 9,000 that converts to Rs 5,900. Lastly, Apple TV, Apple Pencil (2nd gen), Beats Studio 3 Wireless, Solo 3 Wireless headphones, Smart Keyboard Folio, and Magic Keyboard will all come with an Apple Gift Card worth up to JPY 6,000 that converts to Rs 3,900.
