Lock Android apps using Samsungs native App locker
Samsung’s in-house app locker is named ‘S Secure’ and can be downloaded from the Galaxy store on your Samsung smartphone. Once you’ve installed S Secure, follow the steps listed below. Step 1: Go to Settings and select Advanced Features.
Step 2: Select ‘Lock and mask apps’.
Step 3: Once you’ve turned the toggle bar on, you will be made to enter a pattern or a pin password. Step 4: Once you’ve entered the password, tap on ‘Locked apps’ to add the apps you want to lock.
Lock Android apps using a third-party app locker
If you do not own a Samsung device or do not want to use Samsung’s native app locker, there are a multitude of third-party app lockers available on the Google Play Store. App Lock by Sailing Lab and App Locker by BGNmobi are two of the most popular app lockers in the Android marketplace. Once you’ve downloaded them, you’ll be required to create a pin or a pattern lock following which you will be able to add the apps to the locker. Samsung’s S Secure app also provides the option of securing your WiFi connection. S Secure blocks any requests made to your device while you’re browsing the web and encrypts unsecured web requests.
