Speaking of the changes that the updates have got to OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T, the smartphones have got the April Android security patch, a feature that enables users to add parking locations, and a quick reply feature that lets users respond directly from the notification bar itself. It is worth mentioning that OnePlus took to its official forum to announce that OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T have received the OxygenOS Open Beta 30 and OxygenOS Open Beta 28 updates respectively. The beta updates have also brought the upgraded Android security patch for the April and added some improvements to the network speed display that appears on the status bar of the smartphones. Another useful change that the updates have got is quick access to certain tools in the main Settings app with a long press on the corresponding option in the Quick Settings menu of the device. For instance, if you long press on the Bluetooth icon in the Quick Settings, it will directly take you to Bluetooth Settings in the main Settings app. In addition to this, the updates also get the option of Quick Reply in the notification bar. As we mentioned earlier, the updates have also got the Parking Location feature that enables users to remember the parking spot by letting the smartphone save the vehicle’s location via GPS or by taking photos of the surroundings. Here’s the entire changelog of the updates:
