OnePlus 7T price and availability

The former is priced at Rs 37,999 and the latter is available at a cost of Rs 39,999. It is worth pointing out that it is the second time that OnePlus has launched a smartphone that is cheaper than its predecessor. The first one was OnePlus 7 that was priced more affordably than the OnePlus 6T.

OnePlus 7T specifications

Coming to the specifications, much like its predecessor, the OnePlus 7T comes with a 90Hz Fluid display. The company has also added a Chromatic reading mode to the smartphone to provide a better experience for readers. However, the device’s screen has an aspect ratio of 20:9, so it provides more display real estate to the user. The smartphone is also thinner than its predecessor and is just 8.1mm thin and its edges are 3.2mm in size. In fact, another big change in design is the circular module that the handset has to house the triple rear cameras. Speaking of the cameras of the smartphone, it comes with a 48MP main camera, a 16MP wide angle lens with 117 degree field of view and a 2X 12MP telephoto lens. The company has also added a number of camera modes to its app including the Macro lens, Ultra-wide Nightscape and Super Stable Video. We should mention that the Macro lens can be used to capture extremely minute details of objects like small lines on leaves. OnePlus 7T also offers Portrait mode to its users. Moving on to the performance, OnePlus has always touted the speed and smooth function of its smartphones. In order to deliver this, the company always sticks to the most high-end and flagship processors from Qualcomm. OnePlus 7T is no exception to this too. The handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset clocked at 2.96 GHz, and it comes with UFS 3.0 storage, which is currently the fastest storage in the world. As we mentioned earlier, the device comes with 8GB of RAM clubbed with up to 256GB of internal storage. The handset is equipped with  a 3,800mAh battery and it comes with Warp Charge 30T that is claimed to provide 23% faster charging than the Warp charge found on its predecessor OnePlus 7 Pro. Other upgrades of the smartphone include Dolby Atmos support in Stereo Speakers and the improvement of Haptic Mode.

— OnePlus India (@OnePlus_IN) September 26, 2019 It is worth mentioning that OnePlus 7T is the first ever smartphone to come with Android 10 out of the box. Like all other smartphones from the company, the handset’s operating system will be skinned with OxygenOS. The company has added the ability to configure Cricket Scores, create Smart Albums in Gallery and other enhancements in its latest offering. It is giving buyers 5GB of free cloud storage for gallery, and an additional 50GB of storage. Another interesting feature that the company has added in the smartphone is ‘Work-Life Balance’. With this, apps can be divides in two categories: Work and Life. If you enable this, notifications from the other set of apps would not bother you. OnePlus has also introduced International Roaming, using which users can get roaming packages after they arrive at their international destination. Besides the smartphone, the company also took wraps off its OnePlus TV at the launch event and announced its upcoming OnePlus Pay service.
