Earlier reports claimed that to cut down the cost of the OnePlus next smartphone the company will go for a MediaTek processor instead of a Qualcomm for 5G connectivity. But now the tipster Max J shared another image of the OnePlus Z revealing that the device will continue with the Qualcomm processor and the handset will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 SoC with 5G support.

Moreover, they also opened up about the pricing as well as the expected specifications of the smartphone. Those who are unaware of OnePlus next service is tipped to be the Lite variant of its latest OnePlus 8 smartphone. But some other reports claim that the company will begin where it left OnePlus X in 2015. That is how it will be called the OnePlus Z. Coming back to the specification and pricing details the OnePlus 8 Lite? OnePlus Z is said to come with a price tag of GBP 400 (approximately Rs 37,500). The Indian pricing might differ for the other countries therefore it could cost lower in the India market. In terms of specifications OnePlus 8 Lite is suggested to come with a centrally placed hole-punch for the selfie camera and the display is said to feature a 90Hz refresh rate. The Lite variant is reportedly to have a MediaTek chipset, which may be the Dimensity 1000 SoC. Moreover, it is expected to sport a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor. According to the reports the smartphone will run on Android 10 OS. For imaging, it is expected to feature a triple rear camera sensor with a 48MP primary sensor, a 16MP secondary lens, and a tertiary 12MP sensor. It is rumoured to get a 4,000mAh battery with 30T Warp fast-charging support. The device will be offered in two variants of 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB of RAM and storage options.
