Oppo Reno 10x Zoom smartphone, which was launched last year, will soon get VOWiFi calling feature in the upcoming updates, as revealed by a Tweet by Oppo customer care. The VoWiFi feature is not yet been introduced in Oppo devices. However, an earlier tweet by the customer care service of Chinese smartphone maker has confirmed revealed that “the VoWiFi feature will be rolled out along with the next release of ColorOS for the OPPO F11 Pro. Request you to stay tuned to our social media channels for updates on the same.” Mind you! The news report has revealed that the VoWiFi support has also been introduced to Oppo Reno2 Z on the Jio and Airtel networks. This means, using your Jio or Airtel SIM, you can connect to any broadband network and make unlimited calling without incurring extra charges. In order to use Wi-Fi calling, you will need to activate VOWiFi feature on your smartphone and connect to your broadband network. You are now all set to make VoWiFi calls like you normally make calls. What has to be noted is that the option to activate Wi-Fi calling in a smartphone is only limited to some specific models. To enable this feature, head on to the Wi-Fi calling page of your service provider to see if your smartphone is compatible with their VoWiFi service. Once it is confirmed that your device is compatible, Android users can go to Settings > Click on Connection Settings > Open Wi-Fi calling in Android while iOS users need to open Settings > then, click on Phone > select Wi-Fi calling. OPPO has recently launched the next rendition in the Reno series: the Reno3 Pro that comes with the 44MP dual-punch-hole camera setup and a 64MP Zoom quad-camera setup to capture clear images under any lighting conditions. Backed by OPPO’s innovative streak, the global smart device brand was able to garner a solid market share of 26.8 percent in the Indian smartphone mid-premium segment in Q4 2019.
